For my Au-Pair Year, I chose Berlin because it’s the cultural capital of Europe and everyday there\u00a0coming a lot of interesting people from all over the world. It is also interesting that Berlin is one of the cheapest cities in Germany.<\/p>\n

The list of things that you should definitely do in Berlin:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0Visit Reichstag<\/a><\/p>\n

2. Try the famous \u0421urrywurst \u2014 but don\u2019t expect to fall in love<\/a><\/p>\n

3. Visit a candy factory Katjes Fabrik<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Jump from the building<\/a>\u00a0on Alexanderplatz<\/p>\n

5. Visit one of the free English Comedy Show in Teepeeland<\/p>\n

6.\u00a0Go\u00a0to the mountain Drachenberg, where will be a large area where you can have a picnic and enjoy the view of Berlin<\/p>\n

7. Visit the headquarters of Sony. It’s a beautiful place: buildings made of glass, a fountain, which always full of people. Also, there is a large theater, where you have the opportunity to watch a movie in the original language<\/p>\n

8. Take a walk through Berlins bridges along the River Spree<\/p>\n

9.\u00a0 Visit Potsdam , which is a thousand years and where architectural monuments of past centuries survived more than around Berlin<\/p>\n

10.Visit\u00a0Buchstaben Museum. Would be interesting for Graphic Designers<\/p>\n

11. Ride your bike through the streets of Berlin, it is a pleasure!<\/p>\n

12. Polaroid camera with a big discount and other baubles at a flea market (Flohmarkt<\/a>)<\/p>\n

13.\u00a0Look at\u00a0the modern architecture at Potsdamer Platz<\/p>\n

14. Go to the famous show Blue Man Group<\/a><\/p>\n

15. Explore the history of Berlin in one of the\u00a0170\u00a0<\/a>museums<\/p>\n

16. Try the popular soft drink Club Mate (especially limited edition Winter edition)<\/p>\n

17. Make it a huge amount of photos of Berlin Graffiti <\/a><\/p>\n

18. Try the best burgers in Berlin\u00a0Burgeramt<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0Shisoburger<\/a><\/p>\n

19. Lost in the green park of Berlin:\u00a0Tiergarten<\/a><\/p>\n

20. To see the Brandenburg Gate, the TV tower and Berliner Dom<\/p>\n

21. \u00a0Swim\u00a0in the pool in the river<\/a><\/p>\n

22. Shopping! Friedrichstrasse, Ku\u2019damm \u0438 \u0438\u043d\u0434\u0438\u0439\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0435 \u0431\u0443\u0442\u0438\u043a\u0438 \u043d\u0430 Kreuzberg, F\u2019hain & P\u2019berg<\/p>\n

23. Lose yourself inside Berlin\u2019s surrealist bar<\/a> experience<\/p>\n

24. Go for a day in Tropical Islands<\/a>, beautiful\u00a0Potsdam<\/a>\u00a0or go swimming in\u00a0Wannsee<\/a><\/p>\n

25.\u00a0Dance<\/a> at the subway station<\/p>\n

26.<\/span> Have a picnic in the park or in the former airport (Monbijoupark; Volkspark Friedrichshain; Tempelhof)<\/span><\/p>\n
